MARCH 2024: Wrap-up

I had another very busy month here and all the fun updates are below. I was able to attend the launch party for Gwendolyn Kiste here in Pittsburgh for her phenomenal new novel, THE HAUNTING OF VELKWOOD. We had a great time, and I was able to catch up with many members of our local HWA chapter including Sarah Tantlinger and Ben Rueben and others.  We all went for ice cream afterwards.

On the Uncomfortably Dark website and newsletter, you can see all the new releases and work that we are doing over there. New graphics were made for author promos, the site is being revamped to add Author pages and Upcoming release pages. We are working on our third release now and preparing for AuthorCon.

New Merch for both my personal logo and the UD logo were also added to the TeePublic merch store so be sure to check those out at the link below:

These updates on my personal blog are for all my personal updates, appearances, interviews, releases and more.

DEAD HEADSPACE PODCAST

3/6         Interview with Waubgeshig Rice to discuss MOON OF THE TURNING LEAVES. I really enjoyed this episode and the discussion about the storyline, Waub’s writing process, and upcoming work was informative and inspiring.

3/8         Interview with Drew Huff-great discussion on her new book, FREE BURN, plus writing methods and how personal experiences factor into our writing. I was lucky enough to have edited some of Drew’s upcoming work and also gave a blurb for FREE BURN. Trust me when I say you want to pick up every one of her books as they come out!

3/13      Interview with Red Lagoe to discuss her new novel, IN EXCESS OF DARK.  I was under the weather for this episode, but Brennan and Patrick did a great job with this episode. Be sure to check it out.  I was able to read the ARC for this and I highly recommend it.

3/18      Interview with Daniel Braum to discuss his new novel, THE SERPENT’S SHADOW. Daniel is an incredible author that seamlessly blends horror, fantasy, magic, lore, and cultural legends into wonderful stories that are wildly entertaining, imaginative, and unique. I loved the discussion on this episode and always recommend Daniel’s work to new readers. Check this episode out and be sure to pick up the book!
