Apologies for the late posting! It's been a challenging month for me with deadlines, open submissions, and wrapping up the last quarter of 2024 but I am back with some more fall reads for you to check out!
Enjoy!
PAY THE PIPER
BY GEORGE A. ROMERO & DANIEL KRAUS
Being from Pittsburgh, I am a Romero fan, and this story only solidifies why Romero was one of the greats. Kraus did an exceptional job taking the notes and the half-finished manuscript of Romero’s and completing the story in true Romero style, horrifying and captivating until the very end. Seamlessly written, this can only be called a remarkable tribute to Romero and his legacy, as only an author like Kraus can do.
Phenomenal Read!

THE MOBIUS DOOR
BY ANDREW NAJBERG
Having spent a lot of time in the woods as a child, I’ve long been fascinated with the idea of things that are not supposed to be there, such as staircases and doors and the occasional random house. With that in mind, when I saw the idea behind Najberg’s THE MOBIUS DOOR, I was all in and it did not disappoint.
Small town terror, cosmic forces beyond our understanding, and a mounting sense of unease, terror, and dread that drives the story to the bitter end, this is an excellent read from Najberg.
Highly recommended!

DOWNWARD FACING DOUG
BY DON WINSLOW
I found this highly entertaining read on Audible during a sale and I’m so glad I did. No stranger to Winslow’s work but I had not read anything from him in a while. This wonderful tale was a great palette cleanser for what I normally read, and wildly amusing.
Short listen on Audible at just over an hour long and highly recommended.
