This one is just pure stupid fun. It’s a 50s style creature feature homage to the monster movies of the drive-in era.
Is it great? No.Honestly, no, it’s not a great story, but it is a good story, meant to be funny, wild, fast-paced, and corny.
It’s about giant spiders that are spewed out of a volcano. Horny teens are killed on a beach. A prison gets overrun. The chapter headings are titles of songs from the 50s. What more could a B-movie fan want? lol.
This was the first 10 day challenge I did with Judith Sonnet and author Lucas Mangum was a part of this one as well, so be sure to check out their books. All the covers go together to form the overall Drive-in Movie theme which is really cool to see.
